School Fundraising Fun

Samantha was the top seller in her school fundraiser and the only kid who got to get in the money machine.

She came out $16 richer and Patrick, our fundraising rep, reached into the machine and pulled out a $20 to make her $36 richer!

Think she is happy?

Glasses Baby

Samantha has been complaining about not being able to see things that are far away. So, on August 2 we went to the doctor for an eye exam. The doctor told her she will need glasses and she would have to wear them all the time. Samantha left the doctor's office not a happy camper. The next day we went to pick out glasses. We told her what ever she wanted she could get. They had glasses from free to $300. She tried on Gucci, Guess, Juicy Couture and many others. She narrowed it down to 15 pair.

Here she is trying on a pair and deciding if she likes them or another.

Look at all those glasses. We did the same thing that they did for the exam. Glasses 1 or glasses 2, which one do you like more? Then we were down to three pair.

Glasses One

Glasses Two

Glasses Three

AND THE WINNER IS.....

Glasses Two.

The top three were Gucci, Jill ?? and Juicy Couture.

She picked the Jill ?? which was 100% covered by insurance!!

She looks so adorable in them and she is amazed at how well she can see the details now.

Throwing the 1st Pitch

Last Saturday, Jim's work invited everyone to go to the Reno Aces Baseball game.

Jim was given the opportunity to throw out the 1st pitch at the game.

Walking over to get ready.

Walking out to show all 900+ GE employees and family that were in attendance that he could get it over the plate!

Sizing up how far he has to throw it.

He throws and it's GOOD!

Way to go, Jim!!
