This week has gone by so fast, it was a very busy week. On Wednesday, Jim had to go in for surgery, he had a hernia. Samantha didn't go to school on Wednesday either, she didn't mind that. When did she get to the age where she didn't mind going to school? Jim says he has a new found respect for any woman who went through a c-section, I never did have one of those so I have no idea what he is going through. Samantha and I have been helping him a lot lately, it's cute watching an 8 year old help her daddy off the couch, the size difference is huge! He is finally starting to get around better but he was thinking that day two was hell. He gets to take a shower today, he didn't like the nurse telling him he couldn't take a shower until Saturday. I saw the cut for the first time yesterday and I have to say it is A LOT bigger than I imagined it to be, about 5" long, the doctor did a great job stitching him up and he could do any of my sewing if he would like! Today, is going to be a lazy/busy day, lazy because I am going to do some
scrapbooking today but busy because my house is a wreck and it needs to be cleaned. You see, Jim invited about 20 people to a
Superbowl party tomorrow AT OUR HOUSE. He said he would make chili (KY friends we are making 3 way, love that stuff), a dip and cheese and crackers. Now, he said he would do all this but the closer we get to this party I believe I will be doing all this. He is just lucky I love him so much and want him to have fun since his week has been so tough on him.
