Today Samantha turned 9! Where did the time go? I can remember 2001 and going to the hospital because she said it was time for us to meet her. That felt like yesterday. She has grown into an amazing young girl! She is kind, sweet and generous. She loves swimming, Brownies and playing outside with her friends. I still remember when she learned to say Mama, started to call my Mommy and now I am Mom. Last year I could rest my chin on her head and this year she is too tall to do that, next year she will probably be my height. This morning she was up bright and early because she wanted to open "just one present." She opened one of the presents from her Grandma and Grandpa.
Too early but very excited that it is her birthday.
My Grandma can pack lots of presents in small boxes.
Her favorite thing in the box is the wrist tape dispenser with pre-cut tape.
Samantha loves all these little things and her Grandma (my mom) loves to buy them. She got some really cool things that I liked too.
After school we called Grandma to wish her a Happy Birthday too. Samantha let me say Happy Birthday and then took the phone since it was her and her Grandma's day. They both love that they have their birthday's on the same day. Even the dogs wanted to wish Samantha and Grandma a Happy Birthday.
