What a Week!

This last has been so busy for good and bad!! It started out on Sunday when we picked up our dogs at the kennel and Donna saying that one of the dogs was sick, Monday we saw no difference except that both dogs were sick now so I called the vet and they said not to worry until Thursday as long as their energy was ok. Our dogs acted the same as they usually do, jumping and playing all the time! So, Monday night I met friends out for dinner. I love my monthly dinner out with friends. We go to different restaurants every month, there are so many different places to go. Tuesday, I had Girl Guides (this is the Canadian Girl Scouts) but I also had to work on Samantha's school book fair that I am chairing. The dogs still aren't eating or drinking a lot. Wednesday, was book fair finalizing. I had to make posters, collect supplies and make sure everyone was still on for volunteering. And the dogs...still not eating well. Thursday, coffee with some great moms! Every other week I meet some of the moms from Samantha's school and we go out to coffee. After coffee I went back to the school and started to set up for the book fair. It took us about 2 hours to get everything set up and ready for the teachers to come in and have a sneak peak. I called the vet again about the dogs and he asked to see them tomorrow. Friday, the official beginning to the book fair and I am so blessed to have great friends. Last night I called one of my friends to help me while I was out bringing the dogs to the vet. Good news finally about the dogs, they got a bacteria from eating something they shouldn't have. They are now on antibiotics for 5 day. After the vets I rushed the dogs home and then back to the book fair I went. For a school with only 98 kids from preschool to 8th grade I was amazed that we could sell almost $1000 in books our first day! I thought our first day would bring in about $500 in sales and am so proud of the parents for coming out and supporting the school. I have heard nothing but positive feedback about the book fair. The fair was suppose to close at 4pm but it was so busy that we didn't close until 4:45pm. I was so tired when I got home that I went to bed early and unfortunately got up too early. Saturday was a LAZY day, I even took a nap! Sunday, My Day!! I am so blessed to be the mother of Samantha. She cried over the fact that she left my Mother's Day present at school and I hope we are able to find it tomorrow since she said she left it in the hall. I am now ready to start another busy week. The book fair goes until Wednesday, Tuesday night I have Girl Guides Advancement night, Friday I have scrapbooking with some friends which I have to remember to leave at 10:30pm to get home to bed. Oh, is that going to be hard since those ladies are so much fun! But I have to since Saturday Samantha and I have to leave by 6:15am.....yes, 6:15am to go to the Girl Guides 100 year Rally Day. We have to be on the bus by 7am and won't get back until 8:30pm. Talk about a LONG day but it is going to be so much fun! Next Sunday I will hopefully be sleeping in late and relaxing all day!!! Wonder if anyone will do my laundry for me since Sunday is laundry day.
