Easter Morning

Our baby woke up Easter morning at 6:45am, I guess that is better than her 3am wake ups from before. There was screaming in the house saying "the Easter Bunny was here!" This is not a great way to wake up, especially when you don't get to bed until 1am. Jim and I rolled out of bed and sat while she looked for her eggs and basket, it took her almost 45 minutes to find her basket and over 2 hours to find all the eggs. She wishes the Easter Bunny wouldn't hide the eggs so hard but she is 9 and the Easter Bunny hides them harder each year based on her age! This is her taking a candy break from trying to find her eggs, she already found her basket. The Easter Bunny hid 41 eggs and her Easter Basket.

Here she is with some of her goodies from the Easter Bunny, she also got books but they weren't as important as the candy!

After this photo Jim and I went back to bed for an hour and felt much better! Later that day, her and her daddy ate over half of that bowl of candy and then Samantha said she didn't feel good....hmmm.....wonder why!
