Did you ever do this?
We did! Friday night we were going to break in our new tent by sleeping outside in the backyard. Then mother nature decided that wasn't a good idea and she made it rain. Our daughter really wanted to sleep in the tent so she batted those baby blue eyes and said "Can't we set it up in the living room?" We almost had to clear out all the furniture from the room, the couch got pushed into the dining room and the tables were removed completely also. Jim and Sam had a great night with the dogs in there while I had a comfy bed. I was happy to see it go down the next morning and the room put back to normal.

We did this when I was a kid! It was so much fun. I still love the smell of a tent. It's also great to see order restored after an living room adventure like this one, lol.
Now how fun is that!
Did it rain Friday? Gosh... I can't even remember now. I do know we had that nasty weather Saturday evening. Did you guys have bad thunderstorms then?

loved doing that as a kid! there's something about having a tent in the house that makes camping even more fun. i think it has to do with easy access to a shower. ;)
I think Susan you did this when you were younger or maybe you just brought your sleeping bag inside and it was not because it rained either! Our tour is over. Mom
We totally do it! Several times a year in fact! I, too, insist upon my own bed but get the "honor" of putting the room right again the next day! Looks like fun!
