My First Blanket

I AM FINISHED! This afghan took me 9 1/2 months to finish and it will be the last afghan I ever make. I need to get it in the mail for Samantha's kindergarten teacher, she had the baby in the Spring. I thought I could get it done before she had the baby but that did NOT happen. My hat goes off to anyone who knits, my fingers still ache when I think about picking up the needles. I now understand why when I am at a craft shows the afghans are priced so high, it is due to the number of hours you work on it and the pain your fingers go through! Hopefully Mrs. P. enjoys it with all the sweat and blood that went in to it. It is made with a lot of love even though it is a little crooked.
